Overview of Program:

The Maine and New Hampshire chapters are teaming up for an afternoon event where we will hear from a panel of local industry leaders on practical steps to make our own teams, companies and communities inclusive places to live and work as well as lessons learned along their DE&I journey. Our goal is to provide some tactical takeaways that every person can try within their organizations.

Hilary Cain, MBA, SHRM-CP, is the Talent and Diversity Manager for Cianbro Corporation, one of the largest 100 percent employee-owned construction companies in the United States. In her current role, Hilary helps lead Cianbro’s recruitment team, finding and connecting with talented and dedicated individuals from across the country. Her passion, drive, and expertise have made her an excellent resource for her team and a mentor for many new hires.

 

 

 

Annie Collins is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Cross Insurance Agency where she has been employed for the last 9 years. Prior to her tenure at Cross Insurance, Annie studied business at the University of Maine and worked for Senator Susan Collins and at Eastern Maine Development Corporation. Originally from the “County”, Annie now resides in Bangor with her husband and son.

 

 

Mark Felici serves as BerryDunn’s Chief Culture and Engagement Office, leading all aspects of the employee experience including talent acquisition, talent operations, talent development, DEIBA and well-being. Mark’s background includes over 20 years of Human Resources management in not-for-profit and for-profit organizations in high-growth industries such as consulting, insurance (retirement, life, disability, health), pharmaceuticals, legal, retail, manufacturing, customer care/call center, and consumer products.

Over his career, Mark has worked in a diverse set of companies spanning mission-driven organizations, start-up opportunities, and large, complex global firms.  His best-practice HR experience includes senior leadership roles in such companies as Prudential, Merck and Cigna, globally matrixed companies such as Grifols and Office Depot, non-profit entities including Cleveland Clinic and Penn Health, and privately held organizations such as BerryDunn and Morgan Lewis. He has been responsible for local, regional, global and corporate HR teams ranging from 2 to 25 staff members.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of New Hampshire and has completed graduate-level courses towards a Master's degree in Organizational Dynamics at the University of Pennsylvania.
